Hottonia palustris
A good oxygenator. This charming native bares handsome foliage & whorls of lilac flowers. It has two form of foliage for above and below the surface hence it is able to survive in damp ground and relatively deep water.
This plant is evergreen and will retain some stems/leaves throughout winter.
Supplied as a weighted bunch, this requires planting soon after arrival. Partially bed the thickest ends into aquatic soil and pin down where necessary to keep it from floating out. The plant will then send out roots.

The recommended depth in water is calculated as the distance between the top of the basket and the water surface. Therefore "0" would be the basket rim at the water surface.

Postal orders containing plants despatched on Mondays (Tuesday if bank holiday). Click & Collect plant orders are available for collection the next day.
