Iris versicolor
Narrow, erect foliage and branched stems bearing several bluish-purple flowers with spotted yellow throat. Clump forming. To keep this plant compact, remove from pond every few years and split the tubers.
This plant is semi evergreen, therefore in a mild winter may retain its stems/leaves. However in a harsh winter it will reduce back to its basket and begin growing again in the spring.
The recommended depth in water is calculated as the distance between the top of the basket and the water surface. Therefore "0" would be the basket rim at the water surface.
This plant is supplied in a standard plastic plant pot. It will benefit from being repotted into a mesh basket. See our range here.

Postal orders containing plants despatched on Mondays (Tuesday if bank holiday). Click & Collect plant orders are available for collection the next day.
