Pond Pumps including Pond Air Pumps, Nottinghamshire, UK

Filter Pumps  CLICK HERE

These pumps have large mesh inlets to allow larger particles to be collected and sent to the filter. Filter pumps must be left running 24 hours per day therefore choosing a pump with a lower electrical consumption (wattage) and a long guarantee is sensible. Cheap sump pumps may at first glance look attractive but may in the long run cost much more to run and have a limited life.
Filter pumps can be used to supply a waterfall, but are not suitable for running fountains as they will quickly block any fountain jet holes.

Fountain Pumps CLICK HERE

These pumps  are equipped with a fine pre-filter mesh or case (which will require periodic cleaning). This prevents medium to large sized particles from blocking the fine spray jet holes. These pumps can also be used in conjunction with filters and waterfalls.

Feature Pumps CLICK HERE

We carry a selection of mini and smaller bodied pumps for small water features and 'coffee table' fountains.

Waterfall Pumps CLICK HERE

Waterfalls can be achieved by using any type of pump, but when a fountain is also required from the same pump a fine strainer meshed pump must be chosen. When no fountain is required a filter type pump may be used thus reducing the regular need to clean the mesh strainers.

Air Pumps CLICK HERE

Available in many sizes, air pumps are an essential addition to any stocked pond. They cost little to run and not only add oxygen in hot weather but the bubbles will help keep a hole in the ice during winter.

Pond Vacuums CLICK HERE

These are available to both purchase and hire. Vacs do an excellent job of removing silt, sediment and leaves from the bottom of the pond. All models sold discharge the dirty water to waste.
