They can range from the humble pebble pool to an ornate 4 tier ornamental fountain and generally take a lot less maintenance than garden ponds. It is possible to add a water feature to any size of patio or garden, even where small children and safety are an issue. All self-contained features are supplied with water pumps and have 10 metres of 240 volt electric cable fitted as standard. |

Very popular types of water features, which
can be added to a garden pond or run independently with the use of hidden
underground reservoirs. Streams are generally constructed using a continuous
length of pond liner (Butyl being the best choice if heavy rocks are to
be placed on the liner). Waterfalls can be constructed using the same method
but preformed waterfall sections of either stone or plastic can also with
time look very realistic and are much quicker to install. |

The sandstone finish encourages the natural growth of mosses and lichens, helping to give the waterfall an aged and weathered appearance. |  |
